Idaho Power Heating and Cooling Efficiency
Program
Did you know that up to
50% of your home's energy costs may be going
directly to heating and cooling?
Energy
efficient heating and cooling equipment that's
sized and installed according to best practices
can keep your home more comfortable year-round
and may save you money.
Incentives offered by Idaho Power for upgrading
to energy efficient are based on qualifying
equipment, program guidelines and must be
installed by a participating contractor.
Incentive rebates range
from $150.00 to $1,000.00.
Trane Summer Furnace or AC Trace-In Program
(Kick-It to the Curb)

in your or AC for a more reliable Trane Furnace
or Heat-Pump System, and receive an instant
$500.00 rebate! Rebate work with any
Trane XV 95 furnace, XC 95, or a qualifying XL
Heat Pump system. You can also
receive an additional $100.00 rebate when
you add a Trane Clean Effects air cleaning onto
the purchase.
Tax Credits
The Economic Stimulus Bill
passed into law on February 17, 2009 allows for
incentives for homeowners who make qualified
improvements to HVAC, water heating equipment and
other energy related improvements to their primary
residences.
The new tax credits are
retroactive to 1/1/2009 and expire on 12/31/2010.
The program allows for the homeowners to be able to
claim tax credits equal to 30% of the
installed cost up to $1,500.00, on qualifying
HVAC equipment replacement. Some qualifying water
source
heating installations qualify for 30% of the total
installed cost. If you are a
homeowner, we encourage you to consult with a tax
professional for complete information regarding tax
credits. |
